Rent Cafe Resident Portal

Rent cafe is an online platform and application that allows residents to submit work orders, pay rent and set up reoccurring payments, and receive important correspondence emails from the property. All residents are encouraged to sign up for rent cafe as soon as possible.

Rent Payments

Rent is due on the 1st day of every month. Residents have a three day grace period to pay their balance.

A $50 late fee is applied on the 4th day of every month.

An additional $75 late fee is applied on the 8th day of every month.

Renter’s Insurance

All residents are required to maintain a renter’s insurance policy for the entire duration of their lease. Renter’s insurance policies can be bundled with your existing car insurance policy. If residents would not like to bundle with their policy, Bayshore Properties recommends Allstate Insurance agent: Michael Havens (219) 472-2427.

Utilities

Units at Lake in the Woods are electric. The electric provider is NIPSCO. NIPSCO offers a variety of plans to residents. Residents must setup their own NIPSCO account.
